We did a bad bad thing?

Went to the tide pools today and grabbed a few shells... Washed them in really hot water and tossed them into the tank. I don't know how to take a picture that does this justice... They are glowing electric NEON crazy!!! Like the entire tank is just boring dark....and these are like LAS VEGAS lights.

It's like that but XXXX 1000.... They are beautiful, but should I get rid of them?

That, looks like dead Coralline algae. Shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah Coralline algae glows under uv when dying... Will turn into white patches next. Had it happen when i removed power head for a while and exposed to the air.. Interesting effect!
