Hey everyone,
First off, a HUGE thank you to all of the members of the R2R community who created names for our "Name our Chalice" contest! It was amazing to see all of the creative names that you guys and gals came up with! Serious creativity out there! We loved so many of the names! In fact, don't be surprised if you get a PM (and a prize!) in the future if we want to use one of 'em for a different coral! Many were THAT good!
It was obscenely hard to determine the ultimate winner, as we sifted through over 200 names! In the end, we chose the one that we felt best described the look and feel of the coral, and it was unanimous among our crew:
The winner is::roll:
jdl513, (Jason Lach) who came up with "Lavender Starlight" SO, the coral will be known as the
"UC Lavender Starlight Chalice" !
A name that we felt really fit the coral nicely; it captured it's character and aesthetic beautifully! jdl513 will receive a free frag of this coral and bragging rights for some time to come!
We so appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and creativity. We're going to keep running these contests, and we'll improve our methods, and maybe even have MORE prizes in our upcoming contests!
Thanks once again to EVERYONE for your participation...We're stoked to have such cool friends!
