My PH was way low (7.86) in the past few days when the weather was bad.
It climbed shapely to the normal range (8.2) today. Even thou the SPSs look fine, but it still worries me for big swings like this.

Anyone knows if there's any way to reduce the PH swing due to the weather? my ALK is around 7.9 DKH

Thanks!

Are you bringing in outside air for your skimmer? This helped mine alot. As did a higher alk.

Yea, I open the windows I can, and I can't increase the ALK much, I am too afraid of the burnt tip.

Maybe CO2 scrubber?

Was the house closed up during the bad weather? If so, it could've been excess co2 in the house. If it's back to normal now that could be the cause. I use kalk in my tank to keep Alk and ph up because of an ongoing co2 problem, but I don't have SPS so I don't have to be as careful with Alk. Good luck!
