I have been having an issue with some rtn on a few sticks and now polyp extension on a bunch of corals from lps to sps. I have noticed many of them have this web like mucus on them that seems to be irritating the coral. I have been constantly using a turkey baster or power head and it blows off easily, but keeps coming back. I tried adjust my flow, which helps a little, but it still won't completely go away. Tank has been running for a couple years. I sent in and icp I should have this week. From what I testes,

Nitrate -5
Phosphate- .09
Ca- 465
Mag- 1400
Alk - 9.5
Ph - 8.1

Any help is appreciated. Here are a few pics trying to show what the web/mucus looks like.

are those pics right after feeding? Any hard looking tube (vermetid snails) around them?

They are not right after feeding. I thought of vermetids too. I do have a some of those snails on my tank, but been battling those for awhile and the population is pretty small now. Hardly see them any more. Here are a few more pics. These corals get a decent amount of flow and its still building up on them.

maybe lack of flow? how's the flow in your tank?

I like to think I have decent flow. Two tunzee 6055, reef breeders rpm, mp40 and vectra return on a 75. Thats the annoying part, I blast it with the turkey baster and I see the stuff fly off but not soon after its covering the coral again. The plate coral has a ton of flow that comes off the corner of the tank. You can see the web build up and wave in the flow, but still irritating the coral.
