Hello any idea what this web like structure is? It resembles the zoanthids polyps and looks just like they do color wise when closed.
... it even looks like it connects to some of the zoas
Any ideas?
Wanted to turn that rock into an odd shaped zoa island hope thats what it is.
Hopefully not a dumb question.. but I usually see the zoa spread and polyp pop up right next to it.

they can crowd corals. If they do just scrape it away
