Web pouch

Hi Everyone, I skipped a few water changes and aside from the algae and asterina stars, i got this web like pouches in my sump... i attached a few pics (not the best) hope someone can help me ID this things.. hope is nothing too serious..

Picture is difficult to make out. Look up pineapple sponges and see if that looks similar.

It means there are nutrients in the water. They are harmless. They usually go away when they get outcompeted.

Some people say they use silicates in the water so usually they will coincide with diatom blooms. I’m not 100% sure but I always see them in newer tanks. They go away after awhile and they don’t bother anything.
