Havent shared this one. Wasn't sure if it would survive or not.
Christmas Tree worms i picked up a few months ago. They dont come out as much anymore. I need to find them a good shady spot. The little blue guy on the bottom is always out though. Hes my buddy.
The coral they live in is finally starting to get a green tint to it.
All the worm holes have a worm in them, you can see them suck back in. They come out about 2mm or so in full light. They just dont seem to care for the LED lights. When the lights start to dim they start popping out. Pretty fun to watch. Definitely recommend these guys for people who like to stare at their tank.
Also bleached the crap out of my new sps i got, pretty much dead. Just a brown one, so no worries. Was hoping it would turn into something cool, be one of them hidden gems. The one in front also got pretty pale, ive had it longer and is putting up with my shenanigans, but its on watch status. Thats what i get for going camping for the weekend haha.
Im not a huge sps fan. I do like the looks, but i really like to see my corals move in the flow. Would be nice to have a few in there though. Which i guess i do now.
Ive lowered the lights a lot!
You read and hear people say that certain lights are no good or not powerful enough, yet they burn the crap out of your coral...my common sense is telling me something is fishy about the light market...
My sps is a good 12" from the light, 8" down from the top. Any suggestions on that? Good spot? Bad spot? Lots of flow up there. My hydnophoria seems to be diggin it, but wasnt as fluffy with the lights up higher. After i turned them down they popped back out.
