Webs on substrate

Hi! I have had my tank setup for approximately 4 months, and I have started noticing web like stuff on my substrate. I added a couple of nassaarius snails and that is when I began noticing the webs, so I began thinking maybe they are coming from the sand and the snails are bringing them up to the surface? I read about vermetid snails however I cannot find any in my tank. The webbing is found on the majority of the substrate but there is none on my live rock. Any ideas? Should I be worried?

The nassarius snails are causing these webs to appear, they are one of the, if not the most, slimy thing I have ever put in an aquarium and their slime goes where-ever they go. Seriously, NASA or someone should develop a lubricant or something from their slime because it is think and super slippery haha

Lol eww! Thanks for the quick reply. While on the topic of these slimy snails, is it normal for them to climb to the top of the tank and then let go and drop to the ground? Or are mine just special? They do it almost every night...

Mine go to the top of the tank as well, some drop off and others cruise back to the sand on their way down. Not entirely sure why they do it besides looking for food or trying to find a new place to hang out.
