We are on week two of cycling. Levels today tested:
PH 8.4
Ammonia: 1.0
Nitrite: .25
Nitrate: almost 5.0

The PH is a little high but we also just did a water change. We only have live rock in the tank as of now. Do these all seem normal?? Recommendations please!! We put a little fish food in yesterday morning to start the cycle and ammonia had tested 2.0 so it has gone down a little. Thank you for the help!!

Appears perfectly normal to me.

Welcome to R2R. :-)

You're on track. Here's a good video you might find helpful in identifying benchmarks during your cycle:
Good luck

Welcome to R2R ! ! !

You really don't need to do water changes yet. You need bacteria to develop from the ammonia spike. Adding bacteria in a bottle helps speed up the process too.
