Well decided to do a few minor tweaks to my system this weekend. First project was finding a container for skimmate overflow. With my Vertex Alpha 200 skimmer, everyone once in a while I will get an overflow. Since I want to wet skim, when it would overflow it would be at the worst time, like when I was sleeping. So I headed to The Container Store and Home Depot and bought these:

Also picked up a optical sensor for my Apex FMM from LFS. Pretty easy to setup and test. Now I can skim wet without worrying about the skimmer overflowing or cleaning the skimmer daily since I am skimming wet.
Also thought since I am out-and-about that I will get something to see when my water has all evaporated from my container that feeds my CO2 scrubber. Picked up another container from The Container Store below:
Overall spent about $100 but I feel well worth it. Specially with the skimmer.
