Hello! I’d like to mark a few containers for 1G of volume, but I’m thinking that weighing 1G of RODI water will be more accurate than trying to measure and pour in cups etc. That said, can I assume that 1ml of RODI weighs 1 gram?

So then 3875mls of water / 3.875kg / 8.543lb

The mass of water with a volume of 1 gallon will vary by temperature.

One gallon is 3785 mL.

At 70 deg F, that 3785 mL of water weighs 3776 g.

At 80 deg F it weighs 3772 g.

Ah, but @Randy Holmes-Farley is absolutely correct. (you're killing me Randy, you're killing me!;) I luv it!) So, max difference, 3785G - 3772G = 13g = 0.0286598Lbs. or 0.003434237 Gallons.:zany-face: I think I'll go with @exnisstech idea.;) But as @The_Paradox mentioned, what elevation?
