Weir level help

Hello I cant seem to get the water level in my weir to stay level it will hold for a few day the drop over time.

Possible I just realised that I put the ball valve on at 45 degree angle witch may explain why it been difficult to adjust the water level

Maybe evaporation.

I believe its the ball valve as its no straight it's on and angle
