+1 on removal ... caulerpa can become very invasive, and you’ll likely save yrself a lot of later frustration addressing it now (personal experience lol).
carefully remove it from the base as close as possible with tweezers (if the cell walls rupture, it’s prone to spread elsewhere in the tank).
if that rock can be removed, even better: remove the rock and drip hydrogen peroxide directly on it (in a separate bin); flush the area with tank water; repeat several times and discard that water. return the rock to yr tank. monitor daily about 2-3 weeks. don’t be too surprised if it pops up elsewhere in the tank and be prepared to jump on it.
