Hello there!!

Four weeks ago I bought my first pair of clownfish (never had fish). A few days ago they both died without any warnings. The day before they both were very healthy and ate just normal. My water parameters are all normal just as always (stable). I have no clue what they could have been their cause of death because everything else like my crabs and snails are doing fine as always. Now I'm wondering if this read Algae are dinos or cyanos or something else. I have read Dinos are toxic an can kill fish so please help!!

That does look like cyano bacteria. IMHO, cyano bacteria is unhealthy if consumed, but most animals stay away from it. I doubt that was the reason for the clowns dying.

yes that is cyano. I've never had livestock die from cyanobacteria.

Do you guys have any suggestions on how to get rid of it? I have been dosing https://www.ebay.at/itm/25472443776...76184&customid=254724437768_1281&toolid=11000 but without any changes.

Chemiclean always worked well for me. Turn skimmer off and turn UV sterilizer off before dosing.

I just blow it off everything (while running filter socks), then change the sock and do a water change (25g of a 110g system).

Siphon regularly for 7-10 days and reduce white light intensity.
Add -ml of liquid bacteria per 10 gallons daily during the day and 1.5ml of hydrogen peroxide per 10 gallons at night
Leaving white lights off even better yet.
Clean filters daily
