I personally would not just because I only have a 55g with smaller fish swimming around. Now if I had a larger tank with big fish swimming around that I wouldn't have to worry about the mantis attaching, I would have one for sure!

Yeah that thing is some where in my 10 I'm scared to stick my hand in it lol that snap attack is fast I saw a documentary

Smasher Mantis don't kill fish only spearers.

TampaBay Saltwater sell smaller mantis as well. I had three in my tank in Japan and absolutely loved them; never messed with anything that wasnt tiny. Hoping to get some more when I setup the 150g.
