My zoa colony has slowly been closing and I noticed these critters on them, I don’t think they are zoa spiders but I don’t know what they are, any input would help

Yay zoa eating nudis, any treatment or just hope for the best? I also am finding red dots on some zoas, the one with the small red dots don’t open could the red dots be eggs?

not good.
most likely be finding more.
I dipped the zoas and I don’t see any more but I’m sure there is one or two, I moved them to an area of my tank where there are no zoas but today you think my other zoas ( frags) are safe

Do you have an isolation tank? Although, you already added them, so could be too late. If not extra tank, maybe make one in the tank itself. Keep a close eye on the zoas and maybe doe more dips in case it does not kill the eggs. Good luck!

Thanks, I just set up a fish QT tank so I guess I could convert to a coral/ fish. I will keep a close eye although I don’t have many zoas two frags and another small colony but for some readily that hasn’t been opening either but it’s been closed before the nudie eating zoa colony was added so I’m up in arms about that one

I had these guys in one of my tanks as well. I dipped the zoas a few times & plucked out any nudis that I saw scooting around. If you do decide to dip, make sure to look out for their eggs which look like a clear spiral... usually on the stalk of the zoas but could be elsewhere.
I also have a Bicolor Dottyback that I strongly suspect had something to do with the disappearance of the nudibranchs. Can’t say that Dottybacks are everyone’s cup of tea but mine has been a model citizen so far.
Some wrasse will also eat them, if you want to go the more natural route.
Good luck!! Beware - they tend to take on the color of the zoas they’re eating so they get even harder to see the longer they go. :(
