I’ve had these duncans a couple of weeks and they’re not fully opening. They are sitting in 70 PAR. Phosphate is ~ .05. Nitrates are ~ 10-15. Haven’t noticed any inverts or fish bothering them. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

I’ve read others saying they sulk for a couple of months before they open up fully. Leave them be and see how they are in another 10 weeks.

I agree with GBRsouth, when I moved mine from a small tank to their current home they sulked for a few weeks.

Be patient.

If other LPS are looking OK, the Duncans should be fine.

It’s weird. They decided to open up basically right away after bringing them home from the store, but soon after decided to become shy.

What kind of flow do you have them in? I’ve noticed mine like a good amount, but not being directly blasted.

Definitely not direct current. I’d guess from my other corals that flow isn’t an issue. My flow is a wave form. The corals sway back and forth.
