Hi I've been working on a new 10 gallon tank and I have a couple of questions. It is going to be a reef but right now the only things in the tank are one super tongan nassarius snail and one blue green reef chromis.
I have these weird eggs growing on the glass.

Then I also have these tiny little things that kind of resemble starfish.

I need some IDs please

Thanks and happy reefing!

Those are snail eggs.
I have a similar problem and can't identify this egg. I think it was my copperband from the way she is looking at it.

I'm disappointed in you Paul... 1. You misidentified the very obvious Chickenfish egg and 2. You know that Chickenfish are far too big for your system!

;)

Haha thanks for all the great replies! It has to be the nassarius snail then and judging by the slime it probally was her.
I have two but I moved her into this tank. I'll add the other one and maybe get some BABIES!!

Also Paul B please hit me up with one of those captive bred hybrid copperband butterfly and chickenfish. Wonder if they are reef safe......;)

This is why I love reef2reef, loads of replies in less than 20 minutes!!

Happy reefing!
