I added fish almost 2 weeks ago to my fully cycled tank. I did a 50% water change a week ago to get nitrates down from the initial cycling. I have started to get some clear whitish spider web looking algae on my rocks and the glass is looking a bit cloudy. I went through a free floating bacterial bloom during cycling but it cleared up by itself before adding fish. Today I noticed a fill on the surface and tried to capture a video of it. Surface agitation seems good and my CO2 detector says the room is fine My fish don’t float near the surface except at feeding time and they are eating fine and not breathing heavily. The tank is 65 gallons and all that is in there is 2 1 inch clowns. My parameters are
Salinity: 1.025
PH: 8.2
Alk: 8.0
Amm: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5.0
Phos: .003
Is it time to get a clean up crew and or start the skimmer? Increase surface agitation? It seems to be pretty good but I am no expert.
Thanks
