Hi everyone,
What are some of your favorite grazer fish, and what are some of your favorite weird, or active, reef safe fish? Fish that you can see doing their thing in the tank even from across the room sort of fish, be it for size or activity.
I have a handful of fish as well, but the fish I got were all from when I had planned to only run a 29 gallon tank. They were there for a while then I upgraded to the 75. The only problem is that now I have mostly 'chiller' sort of fish who would have done well in a small tank, and I have a whole lot of empty space. At any given time I can see one or maybe two of my fish just hanging out in a corner or on the glass.
Currently I have
2 clown fish
3 clown gobies (Green, Yellow, and Black)
1 Neon goby
1 Bangaii cardinal- just laid eggs two nights ago, I wouldn't be opposed to a male if I knew a way to be sure that it's a male and that they'd safely get along.
I keep inverts- snails, shrimp, coral, anemone, urchin, etc so I've got to make sure it's safe. My rock work sits on egg crate. The egg crate is on the glass and the rock is on the egg crate and I've got sand. I also have a pistol shrimp that I'd like to pair with a fish, but want to be aware of compatibility issues. I like bennies and gobies, I like tangs but I tend to lean more towards the tang police end of the spectrum and opinions seem to be mixed on a 75 so I'd rather leant the side of caution.
