Weird growth on anthias?

I just noticed this on an anthias that I have in hypo. Not sure what it is or what I should do about it?

I caught the fish tonight again and rubbed the spot with my finger and it came off like a scab and left a small crater where it was. Hope infection doesnt set in.

Do you have any antibiotics on hand? QTtank setup up? Seems like metro, kana plex and/or furan2 would be a good arsenal to have

Get her on an antibiotic to help with any infection that will probably set in. Standard gram neg treatment is good. The ones mentioned above. I use a Triple cure from Everything Aquatics and it so far has been great for my QT animals.

I do have furan 2. Will it be ok with hypo? They are currently being qt'd in hypo.

Yep. Anitibiotics are fine with hyposalinity. Make sure to add some oxygen with either a pump directed at surface or airstone.
