Weird growth on frogspawn

I have just noticed this growth on my frogspawn. The spawn has been opening fully and has looked better than ever the last month but this growth is worrying me. Does anybody know what it is? My guess was some sort of sponge. What should I do about it?

These photos were taken after the leds turned off. My mangrove light was still on.

Pineapple sponge

It's not a bad thing... it will probably go away eventually on its own.

Pineapple sponge. Should bot be a problem but if your frogspawn keeps retracting it wont hurt to try and remove the sponge. But other than that it is a harmless filter feeder.

I actually love it when they start appearing in my sump as I run a skimmer-less tank. Really cool looking creatures.

Thanks for the replies. For now I will just leave it alone until I can see the frogspawn is being bothered.
