Hey everyone, I was wondering if you could help me identify what this growth between my torch heads is? Is it harmful and if I need to get it off any suggestions how? Is it a new head growing?
Thanks for the help!

I could be wrong, but it sure looks like a pineapple sponge to me.
If that is the case, it's a harmless filter feeder.

Thank you for the information! I guess I’ll watch it to see if it bothers the torch and go from there like @TriggerFinger said too. Man was really hoping it was a new head growing! Thanks again!

I'd use a pair of feeding tongs and just pull it off and throw it in your sump/filtration area.
It will irritate the polyps and you won't get full extension.
