Weird jelly like thing with white center-help ID

What do you guys think? Tank is new, a week wet. In the center of the pic, it has a white center and a semi clear,petroleum jelly looking outter. Started with dr. Tim's one and only and real Reef rock. Only live thing, a side from dr. Tim's, are a couple frag plugs from my other tank to introduce some other bacteria for the cycle. I have ghost fed a handful of times with flakes. Thoughts?!?!

Hard to tell from the pic, but I'd posit what you've got is one of 2 things. If you started with live rock rather than dry, it could very likely be a variety of sponge or tunicate.

The other possibility is that the food from the ghost feeding has just developed a bacterial film as they break it down.

All of the above are nothing to worry about.
