Weird large white spiral

This morning I woke up and on the back wall of my tank is a decently large pure white spiral (1inch long) with almost like a blob attach to it. Very strange, never seen anything like it. Pictures to come once the lights come on a little more.

I have a few different species of snails. But I haven’t seen any whelks, at least not any large ones,

It’s moving! What in the world!? I think it may be a snail that lost its shell? It’s looks like a snail and there is a empty shell on the sand bed. Is that even possible?
