I recently introduced a green bubble tip anemone about 2 weeks ago to my now 8 months old tank. For the first week it looks like with the beautiful bubble tentacles, but ever since it decided to move to a better spot it starts to looks weird. It doesnt have at sign of gaping mouth or bleaching but I read somewhere that skinny tentacles are one of the sign the anemone is not happy. Do you think the anemone is fine? Or am j just worried about it too much. Thanks in advance
The pictures below are how it used to look like and one is recently.

Skinny tentacles are one of the big mysteries. AFAIK no one has figured out why some BTAs bubble and others have long tentacles. Mine is mostly long and I've had her for nearly 2 years. She's also split enough times that I've made the cost of buying her back at least twice over.

Yours looks fine to me.

This is not a proven fact, though it is one of the more common BTA theories.
Another school of thought is that it's more like straight vs. curly hair - some have one, some have the other, and some (most, seemingly) change based on the conditions - none of which indicates anything about the overall health of the animal...
Two schools of thought and no tested science to back either one up. Lots of anecdotal evidence both ways, however...

It looks healthy to me, but I'm no nem specialist. Generally I've heard that if they move about and then stop somewhere, they've found their happy place (and you should leave them there).

One more thing that concerns me is that whenever I tried to feed it, the tentacles never seems to be sticky or the anemone eating... I know it's not necessary for an anemone to eat, but would they at least grabbed the food??

Okay thank you very much... maybe I'm just worried about this way too much and read too many online articles. Thank you you guys for helping me out!

Your BTA looks fine to me. I don't think you have anything to worry about, based on those pictures and your parameters.

My RBTAs cycle between skinny and somewhat bubbly tentacles. I have no idea what influences their appearance, though their tentacles seem to become plumper when they're well fed. Often they will develop the classic bubble tips, but not usually on all of the tentacles. I can't tell you the rhyme or reason for their shape, but they appear healthy and happy.
