Weird looking Snail. Good or bad hitchhiker?

Is this hitchhiker a snail? good or bad?
It is crawling like a snail. It does has a shell on its back but on a little longer than half of its total length it is crawling.

Most importantly, is it ok to put it into my DT?

Hopefully someone else chimes in, but looks like a stomatallid snail.... A good citizen and good CUC.

It might, but the ones in my frag tank mostly come out at night and are rarely visible during the day.
