just discovered this. Moves very slow. Any guesses?
 
Chiton is a good guess... did you bring in "fresh reef rock"
This rock was used to start a new one in January. First appearance for this guy. There are definitely chitins in this rock but none like this. I'm still finding things now. It's 30lbs of KPaquatics and 30lbs TB live rock. I always cure in the tank. The die off creates nutrients for an almost immediate cycle with the bonus of these surprises. Thanks.

Thanks. I let mine go pretty wild. Not much gets removed. Lol. Mostly corals and fish love it. So many cool things in quality live rock. I've been fascinated with hitchhikers since the 70s.
