Weird noise from AquaClear 110

I cleaned my filter, as I do every week and now it's making a weird grinding noise. I took it apart a 2nd time to make sure everything was seated right. Any thoughts what could be causing this?

Cant see, but are you sure the impeller and slot are clean and the pump is filling when started…

Yeah, I double checked the motor and it pulled water right up. I can't figure this out.
