Thank you for your feedback, learned a-lot from you all. I seen them for months in my tank all over the rocks and never thought nothing of them. I just removed a few big ones that could be reached. I will get some Bumblebee snails soon.Debatable. They can spread relatively quickly and release this string-like mucus to feed that can irritate some corals. If they remain in check, not a problem, but if there are a bunch in a concentrated area the strings can turn into a net of sorts blanketing over nearby coral. They can also eventually make your rock looks like some medieval torture device with all the hard pointy tubes sticking out. I will periodically go thru my tank and crush all the ones I can reach.
