Weird skimmate

Hey eveyone.
My simmker has just started producing a different colour skimmate, used to be a darker colour.
Any know why it would habe changed?
I do run bio pearls if that helps.

Mine changes colors all the time depending on how wet (or dry) I am skimming. I have also had it change to charcoal black for no reason. Just depends on what it is pulling out and how high the water level in the skimmer body is. Maybe it was skimming wetter than normal?

Have you added anything new to the tank? Sand, livestock? Started dosing something new? Dose NoPOx or vodka or anything?

I got 2 fish just over a week ago. Started using a pallet food coupe days ago
