Does anyone know what type of snail I have, and if it could be the reason my zoas have started to die off/irritated? This past week I’ve had an explosion of these dudes everywhere and they are on every single coral I have. As of the moment zoas are the only ones that seem to be affected. Thanks!

Collanista snail and friendly
Zoa issue may be:
Light too bright
Too much water flow
High phosphate
Low salinity
High temperature

also add iodide to their water

Thank you for the advice! I will try some iodide dosing tomorrow. Salinity is in check, lights have been the same as usual, temperature is constant, and water flow has been normal(said zoas have been in the tank for roughly 5 months without any changes) but not sure about phosphate. Just wanted to make sure that the snails were good as I’ve never seen them before!

Any update on this? I'm having the same problem with Zoas. I did a time lapse the other day and have numerous starfish and collanista all around.
