Weird spaghetti like strings

I just found some really strange strings behind some rock work. It literally has the structure of spaghetti. My guess is that it is some kind of a sponge. Any guesses?

Welp, just searched “sea hare eggs” and that seems to be it. Kinda surprising but very cool!
