Weird thing..

Okay so I was doing a water change so no pumps or anything were going doing my normal motion. I finished and was turning on my wave makers...I looked at my bi color hammer who was puffy and happy and there was a long brown string coming straight out if it’s mouth like a worm probably about 3 inches long? After I turned the pumps back on it started to go straight back from where it was coming out of...I tried and tried to get a clear picture but couldn’t...now I’m worried it may have something even though I dipped it in coralrx was the first coral in the tank and has only been happy since the day I got it in the tank. Any ideas? I didn’t find any hitch hikers when I dipped it 3-4 weeks ago

The only picture I can see it but it was almost all the way back in the mouth

They will expel zooxanthellae from their mouths sometimes. It's normal. Mine often do this after I feed them.

Likely poop. If its gone in next 12-24 hrs, confirmed and you’re good to go !!

Some of my corals will catch anything in there mouths, it’s probably poop I have that happen a lot.

My guess would be poop. My two hammers and frogspawn do it all the time.
