Any "also freshwater" aquarists here ever had the idea of using a mushroom cage in their freshwater tank(s)? I've got some ideas.
I imagine you can use wire or make a mount and use it as an emersed plant (pothos, sweet potato) holder. Or, put it over a plant you don't want your bigger fish to uproot (I have goldfish). I wonder if it'd be possible to use it to protect a lily's bulb from annoying fish too (or turtles).
