i found this critter in one of my reef rocks in my tank. I wonder if its a threat to my reef.

Info:
I found it when i was cycling my tank so its pretty hardy creature

I never saw it crawl in the sand and only seem to crawl in the nooks and crannies so its probably feeding off the detritus or algae

This reef rock was from Port Dickson, Malaysia.

ye i can confirm it is a sea cucumber

i cant believe it survived the cycle huh

now what species idk

i just hope its a smol boi cos this lil guy can crash my tank

i think ill leave it in the sump for now (i put the rock originally in the sump)

Live rock provides a skip cycle.

true and using microbacter 7

didnt get the ugly phase yet

but my first algae is coralline

Not to mention it was outside of the water for atleast 1 hour through transport which im shocked how it hasnt secreted anything yet

Also it seems to be a tiger tail sea cucumber relative
