Anybody have any idea what this is it looks like bristles or hairs all over the bottom of a huge Monti.

They feel kind of calcareous so I would say hard.

Hmmm I'm not sure. My initial thought was sponges, but if they're hard I'm unsure. Let's see if anyone from #reefsquad can ID them

Hard but not hard enough to just break them off or scrub them off like the small calcareous worms that are common if that makes sense

Possibly that'd be my best guess, if they are anyone know the best method for removal, can't scrub all of it it's deep in a huge Monti colony
