Hello fellow reef keepers!

For quite some time I have had various types of sponges come and go. For a while I have noticed this white sponge, and it is growing more than I realized. I was inspecting the tank tonight with a flashlight, and realized there is a lot more than I thought. Does anyone know what this is, and is it possible that it "eats" rock??

Probably Pineapple sponge. safe. Not a rock eater!

I have had a bloom of pineapple sponge before, and it looked more like "sponges tags" of some sort, than a flat looking sponge like this. I hope it is harmless!!!
