Weird white string like thing on rock and glass

I don’t know what nopox is sorry, so I don’t use it

Well that’s actually good then.

If you pull em off , do they have structure or or is it just slime ?

When I pull them off It feels how pulling singular strands of hair off your head would feel, so they are not slime.

I can’t see enough detail in the picture, so, are they little branches with “joints” and bends , with tiny “buds”?

Here are some more photos, hopefully you can get a clear enough idea of what they look like

Thanks.

My guess is branching hydroids.

If so, toothbrush , scrape , avoid coral foods and extra juice. Usually go away Esp in newer tanks.

More eyes please. #reefsquad.

If it feels like a hair when removed I think it's a faded/dying algae. I've had some of that in my nano.

Well they just kind of showed up one day and have slowly multiplied onto the glass
