I have this strange white formation that has developed under a frag, likely came in with it... it seems to steadily grow in a roundish form and looks porous and soft. It is in full lighting as well. Any thoughts?

That’s the thing, it’s not really in a low flow area and definitely in full light.

So it’s normal for it to be growing in full light?
I'm not sure if I'd call it normal but it should be ok. I have some yellow sponges in full flow and light and they don't grow fast but they are surviving.
