I've only had the EVO 13.5 up for 4 weeks and it looked perfectly fine 10 minutes ago and I just went and checked on it again and I see these large sized white balls of fur it looks like floating in the tank. I have no idea how they got there or what they are. My only guess is that it's the fluval biomax that got into the third chamber and through the return pump. If that's the case is this a big issue? I pulled out the biomax and it seemed to still be intact in the bag it came in.

I'm not sure if this is an emergency, but I see the clownfish eating the white balls. Hoping it's not an issue, I put some pictures below for reference.

I just realized it's coming from the fire shrimp that I have. It's pulling it out from under it's tail, any ideas what this is? Is it eggs? Is this a problem? They seem to be floating around the tank

Is it eggs? Will it cause a spike in ammonia? It's definitely coming from the fire shrimp and underneath his tail

You could always run carbon if you're concerned.

I have Fluval SPEC Carbon Filter Media in the second chamber. The tank does seem to be clearing now. Do you think it should be alright? It looked like there were alot of eggs but they all seem to have gotten eaten or went into the AIO sump by now.

Neither. I was curious if you had eggs hatching from them, but you already know who mama is.
