I picked up a new BTA over the weekend. It colored up nicely once we got it in the tank and it has seemed to maintain that color. It has been bubbled up from the start but it seems that it may be in too much current since it hasn't been fully extended since we got it. This morning a couple of the tip developed some white stuff. I thought it might have caught some food but it's still there 14 hours later. I'm not sure if I should be doing anything for it.

The white is just a spot on the tip of the one that is obvious and then you can see a bigger blob on a middle tentacle but I couldn't get a shot focused on it.

If it's current related I'm not sure why it hasn't moved it's within half an inch of where I put it. Here's how it looked yesterday and the. When we brought it home on Saturday.

My water parameters are

Sg 1.026
pH 7.9
Nitrate 20 ppm
Phosphates 0.11 ppm
Alkalinity 7.7 dkh
Calcium 380 ppm

I tried blowing it off and whatever it is it seems stuck there. It's a little more clear in this picture I took after trying to blow it off. This is about 30 min after lights on.
