Weird Wiry Brown Algea

Howdy! I have this odd algea growing on one rock surface in my newish tank. It’s about 5 months old and has gone through some different stages of algea growth, all which have remedied themselves with time and stability. This stuff appears to be thinning since I turned on my the radions and extended the photo period a couple of days ago. I think it may go away in time without intervention... however, I have not been able to find a similar looking algea here on R2R, or google. It has a superficially similar looking structure to chaetomorpha. Let me know your thoughts!

It does look similar to that, just a bit curlier perhaps. I’ll have to pull out a real camera to get a better pic.
