Hello everyone. So today i noticed my rock pool shrimp had dissapeared so i decided to look for him. I wasnt able to find him anywhere so i grabbed the single piece of live rock i have and looked underneath it. He wasnt there but what i did see was this strange looking tentacle thingy. At first i thought it was one of my nassaurius snails poking out but then i noticed it was coming out of the rock itself and not from the sand. Its about an inch long or less it has no calcification around it and it can fully retract itself into his burrow. He also has one of those feather worm type of head which he can retract into his own body (really weird). I dont think he has anything to do with my shrimp disappearing but if anyone knows what it is id like to know too. Also no pics because hes too small and in a really hard spot to see.

Barnacle, if the shell is in the rock wont see this part.
