weirdest biotope possible for 10 gallon tank

im prolly gonna wait buy i might do like a pico anthopleura tank with like a sculpin and starfish because a very small tank can be chilled with a very large box filled with ice right?

My first build was a 40 gallon temperate aquarium. It stayed at room temperature (68 degrees Fahrenheit in the winter and 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer). Temperature changes were gradual (heavily insulated house walls, air conditioning, medium sized tank), though my livestock would likely have been much more grateful if I had used a chiller (my Moonglow anemone (Anthopleura artemisia) always seemed somewhat stressed). With that in mind, I doubt an even smaller pico could sustain much life considering how quickly it could burn up or cool down (I know many tide pool organisms could survive said changes, but they would not be ideal for them). I am unsure about how your house is insulated, but for the sake of your animals’ health, ice should not be used to maintain stable water temperatures.

there is a cold water FB group I thought about it but you need a think acrylic tank so condensation don't build up. then if your house is above 60 you will need a chiller.

+ nems and other animals are not cheap.
in the end it was gonna be more $$ that a tropical reef and not as cool IMHO.

I would just stay with a normal reef. lots of nice examples of pico and small tanks out there. even budget friendly ones.

I had a 20L macro algae tank was fun and challenging. harder than expected.
other options are:
softies only
LPS only
regional biotope
NPS ( altlho I would not suggest it very few ppl have success with it)

How big is the aquarium you plan on housing this livestock within? I doubt a Hogchoker (6 inches long) could live a happy life in a pico with two other fish and it might eat smaller fish and invertebrates. A blenny sounds like a wonderful idea though.
