I thought about getting a goldflake angel but even those are 1250$ :crying-face:
 
Cheaper to get a mask and snorkel, or a full SCUBA outfit and go collect your own specimens perhaps.

It would be more interesting and rewarding than paying the money for an online fish and hoping it survives transit.
 
Why are fish and coral so pricey in Australia? I would imagine it being much cheaper.

If you consider the average mortgage in Australia is 550000 and if you earn under 100k you are classed low income then that might put it into relation. Still 5k for a fish that could just die in a heartbeat is crazy.
