I had two tanks spring leaks because I did not have them level. Both tanks split along the bottom seam in one corner about a month apart.

One is a custom 44. 62.5" x 12.5" x 13" or 158.75cm x 31.75cm x 33.02cm = 43.97G or 166.43L

The other is a lowboy 75. 60" x 18" x 16" or 152.4cm x 45.72cm x 40.62cm = 74.81G or 283.17L

Getting them out and cleaned, wedged between objects to get the right angle, leaving them there to cure, and getting the smell out of the house were all PITAs. Gathered the tools, puzzeled out the mixing instructions, and knocked them both out in an afternoon.

A week to fully cure and they were back up and running.

I use a #8 gauge metal needle with a 100 or 150ml syringe. Makes for a clean application.
You can search amazon

12 Pack - Dispensing Needle 1" - All Metal, Stainless Steel Blunt Tip Luer Lock 8, 10, 12, 14 Gauge (All Sizes)

Thank you. How do you know a syringe will not react with Weld On? The glass 100ml syringes I found are $65 to $100. Cheap ones from China will take months to get here. Suggestions?

i get mine at the feed store. Plastic ones. Luer Lok tips. They come in all sizes. They do not cost much. The #40 residue will peel off the inside once dry as long as you dont leave the syringe full. The tip can be cleaned out with a drill bit.

Old post but how many hours after you pour a seem can you move on to the next seam. I thought it was like 12 hours at least for Weldon 40.

Here's a question I haven't seen asked yet. I ordered the pint kit and as soon as I unwrapped the little Part B bottle I dropped it on the concrete, broke the jar, and lost it all. Does anyone know where I can buy just Part B? I already tried The Engineer Guy (where I bought it). Or does anyone know of another hardener that can be used that will work? I hate to think that I'm just out the money I spent on the kit because of this.
