Welded metal stands

My stand for 200G - has been in use for over 12 months.
Was powder coated white - key is to tell the powder coating company what it is used for.
- Sand blast
- Under coat and top coat - polyurethane powder coat from memory

Polyesters and polyurethanes can provide good to excellent outdoor durability. More often than not, polyurethanes have polyesters beat on chemical resistance, hardness and thin film appearance; however, this added performance almost always comes at a premium.

6061 alum sq bare is worth looking into. Ive never built a tank stand out of it, but I've built stands for things that weigh a lot more than a fish tank and it's very strong stuff and easy to work with, can be drilled if welding isn't possible
