I guess I'm hoping some others will share their bone head experiences and by doing so make me feel a little better about how stupid I feel at the moment.
Soooo basically I have been performing all my tritration tests incorrectly. I have been filling the 1ml syringe so that the solution reads/hits the 1ml which obviouly wouldn't account for the solution in the tip. Seems completly obvious now but I have been working under the assumption that my tank parmeters where all off by several 100 pionts. Thank god I watched a video of someone performing the alk test and learned this. I would have dosed my tank into oblivion. I am not sure I have ever been so happy to learn learn I was an idiot!!

Calc 420
Alk 10-11
Mag 1300
Amonia 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate 20- Down from 50 when I set it up
Phos .18 Down from .4
