My name is Michael, but I use the handle Rutrag (long story) on a lot of forums, including three other aquarium forums. I've been in the aquarium hobby about 30 years, starting with a 5.5 gallon freshwater community tank. I worked at a four different pet and aquarium stores in the eighties and earlybefore having to get a real job. (Life does that sometimes.) One was a big box store.
My current aquariums include a 75 gallon mixed reef, a 40 breeder featuring a green haddoni anemone, a 20 high freshwater livebearer tank, a 20 long freshwater glofish tank (really my daughter's); and a 29 with a featherfin catfish.
I spend the most time with my 75, and my favorite fish are wrasses. Right now in the 75 I have a Carpenter's, a line spot flasher, and a Lubbock's. I recently lost an exquisite. He just slowed down and started hiding a lot, and then stopped eating after having him about two months. I have a female solarensis in quarantine I'll be adding this weekend. I also have a tomini tang, royal gramma, Midas blenny, and a pair of ocellaris who live in a long tentacle anemone.
I have a melanarus wrasse who used to live in the 75, but became too aggressive towards a Carpenter's wrasse and a Lubbock's, eventually leading to the demise of both. I also have a cinammon clown and neon psuedochromis in there.
